Local stewardship is crucial in our fight for Long Island’s environmental future! Is there a local park or open space that needs your community’s help? What park / public space in your community needs to have invasive plants removed, natives planted?
I’m so glad that the Long Island Conservancy is here to help to conserve (and perhaps even expand) what’s left of the Island’s natural resources.
I would love to take an active role in these efforts. In addition, I’d be glad to provide music (classical, jazz, folk, etc.) for events. Musicians other than myself would have to be compensated, but I would donate my services (and could perhaps make a donation to cover the others).
