It has been the goal of The Long Island Conservancy to make it easy for people to buy our native plants. That is why we created Plantstock, so that people could stock up on native plants with the ease by which they purchase their vegetables and fruits at Hamlet Organic Garden, a CSA or “Community Supported Agriculture” Farm in Brookhaven Hamlet (319 Beaver Dam Road). Help Long Island Go Native, starting in your yard!
For Plantstock V, which is Saturday, April 19th, between 10-2, The Long Island Conservancy will be offering our native milkweeds for sale, for the sake of our Monarchs, and in order to do battle with The Spotted Lanternfly.

The Long Island Native Plant Initiative (LINPI) has an extensive inventory of overwintered plants to choose from.
Here are the pricing guidelines:
- 4 inch/quart herbaceous or woody perennials $10
- 1 gallon woody shrubs $17
- 2 gallon woody shrubs $27 (such as Swamp Rose & High Tide Bush)
- If a size isn’t specified, assume it is a quart for $10.

Order your plants from LINPI HERE. The prices are a bargain. Buy in bulk and transform your yard!
They will be at Plantstock V, so you can meet them there, and arrange to have your native plants picked up there!
We will be adding other local native plant growers along the way so that Long Islanders will have a full array of our native plants, and in quantity.
