Go Native At Plantstock VI! Saturday, October 11th!

Go Native @ Plantstock VI!    Buy local native plants from a variety of growers — LINPI, ReWild, Tyska Natives, and of course from The Long Island Conservancy, and certainly others.

Plantstock is the Saturday before the Monday Columbus Day holiday.
“Native Planting Day” conveniently falls on the Monday holiday, when we will have plants and volunteers to help their communities to “Go Native.”

Fall is a great time to plant!   The reward comes in the spring!

The goals of Plantstock:

• • To promote an understanding of the importance of native plants
  • To provide gardeners and community groups with a reliable source of native plants
  • To foster community among the various growers, gardeners, and civic organizations

It’s been exciting to see the native planting community coalesce and to see so many people go native!   Our local wildlife is depending on us!   Plant native and see nature return, even to your yard!
